An estimated 16.7% of wines from Puglia are produced according to EU DOP Quality standards. The region produces 32 DOP wines including 4 DOCG and 28 DOC wines. They also produce 6 IGP wines accounting for 33.6% of production. Table wines account for 33.7% of output.
